Cold weather does cut range — plan on losing roughly 20–30% on the coldest days, which is why we point most Maine drivers toward the longer-range Sierra EV Denali or AT4 if you commute I-95 or head north on weekends. Home charging is the game-changer: a Level 2 charger in the garage means you leave every morning "full," and you almost never think about public charging for daily driving. And these trucks are genuinely capable — instant torque is fantastic in snow with the right tires, and the Sierra EV tows up to 12,500 lbs when properly equipped.
